The Springer's damsel, also known as the blue sapphire damselfish, sports a stunning iridescent blue coloration with some black markings around the face.      

Care

Springer's damsels stay relatively small for damsels at an adult size of 2", and can be kept in tanks of 30 gallons or more. Like most damsels, they're extremely hardy and reef safe. Their small size and easy care requirements make them a popular option for beginners, but it should be noted that, like most damselfish, they can be territorial as adults.     

Diet

Springer's damsels have no special feeding considerations, and will readily accept most frozen or dry prepared foods.
