Product Description

Frozen Cichlid Delight - 30 Cubes - 3.5 oz

San Francisco Bay Brand Frozen Cichlid Delight is a 3.5 oz package containing 30 individual cubes that provide essential nutrients, vitamins and proteins to the inhabitants of your aquatic ecosystem. Specially formulated for discus and other freshwater, carnivorous cichlids, these nutrient rich cubes are suitable for fish such as discus, angels, oscars, Jack Dempseys, Lelupis, Compressiceps, Frontosas and many others. The frozen cubes contain turkey heart which when compared to beef hearts, contain substantially higher levels of beneficial omega-6 and omega-9 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA’s). Warm-water fish can readily metabolize the omega-3 PUFA’s they require from these omega-6 and omega-9 PUFA’s. Turkey heart is also a source of the carotenoid pigments beta-carotene & lycopene, with Spirulina algae further increasing the amount of natural pigments to help bring out vibrant and visually stunning colors in your cichlids. The food has no fillers and helps to enhance vibrant colorations, encourage growth and provide fish with a boost of energy.

Please Note:

Feed often, but only what can be consumed in three minutes. Remove any uneaten food. Never overfeed. No thawing or rinsing required. Keep frozen.

Microwaving or thawing in hot water is not recommended, as this breaks down the nutrients contained in frozen fish food.
